When treatment of a patient lasts 2-2.5 years it is important to carry out tooth movement not in succession but simultaneously. Appliances with skeletal anchorage drastically improve the possibility of moving teeth. For instance, it becomes possible to mesialize all the posterior teeth while working independently with the anterior teeth if there is space. The same applies to aligners. Currently, existing protocols recommend consecutive movement of teeth during mesialization without any additional elastics with skeletal anchorage but when we use appliances we can accelerate tooth movement and it will be a huge advantage for the patient. Also, let’s mention expanders with simultaneous distalization. They are indispensable in treating adolescents when we have a narrow maxilla and anterior crowding and we can carry out several movements at the same time. That’s why for me FitFree means appliances that I use with pleasure and that help me grow professionally because I invent something participating in their development. They also improve my work as an orthodontist and the work of my clinic.
